Few words about me

Adnan Mešić

Born and raised in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In August of 1995 at the age of 17 I went to the US to finish my last year of high school in a town of Bath, Maine. After high school I attended Clark University in Massachusetts, where I received my BA in Government and International Relations with minor in History.

From 2000 to 2008 I worked for several global institutional investment companies - Brown Brothers Harriman, JP Morgan Invest, Investors Banka & Trust and State Street – from an analyst and client account manager in fund accounting business to unit manager at the global operations and corporate actions department.

While working in 2003 I started my MBA at the Babson College, F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. I received my MBA in 2006.

In January of 2009 I returned to Bosnia and Herzegovina after having spent 13 years in the US. My first assignment was a World Bank project to create and implement week-long financial education training for young entrepreneurs in Tuzla Canton. After successful completion of this project in December of 2009 I got an opportunity to direct establishment of a first Debt Advice and Financial Education Center in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am a director at the Center for Financial and Credit Counseling.
